After looking for these for over a year I finally got water caltrops again! These are definitely the spookiest nuts I have ever seen! What makes water caltrops so cool (asides from their appearance) is that they grow submerged underwater and their plant grows above the water! To me water caltrops look like a mix of a gargoyle and a bat! These are edible, but they need to be boiled for 30 minutes.
